Heart Prints

from $8.00

Deep matte giclee prints, with a velvety black background that is similar to the original artwork. All prints will be signed in pencil; it has this wonderful effect against the black matte of only showing in certain angles!

Original was hand drawn in lead (including the black background!) on 14x17 paper, and is anatomically correct.

Contact me if you would like something that is sold out, or if you’re looking for a bigger size that what is listed! :)

NOTE: You may have seen that the heart is more greyscaled than the other pictures. This is not a fault of editing or screen light or anything. It is more greyed out because I used a different technique. Whereas the other pieces used a blending stub, for the heart, I used nothing but the lead and a small dry paintbrush (and my finger for the background). That is why it is grey while the others are not. Fun fact. Go tell your friends.

(Fun fact: “Heart” was my sixth of this series, completed in 2024. This one got me hard. Imposter syndrome, angry with having gotten so far with a different technique and afraid it wasn’t working, writing in my thoughts in the background knowing that they would be hidden under the black. I even considered ripping it up—violently—a few times, NOT my mo. Really fucking glad I didn’t.)
